Gloomy Saturday ...

Oh, how upset was I when I woke up and saw ever so sad gray sky pouring down heavy rain on Saturday. It's because it was a day that I've been waiting in excitement for days and days. It was cold, rainy, dark, and I actually had some flu symptoms that were not so bad but very annoying! :( I did not wear what I planned to wear and just slipped into something that was comfortable, and ONLY comfortable haha. Even though my excitement of seeing my boyfriend and my best girls was high above the cloud, my physical condition wasn't cooperating nor enthusiastic, but rather inactive and lazy. Very often, my mood affects the way I dress, and since I was feeling a little sick, I just wanted to wrap myself up so that I would feel like I'm in a blanket even when I'm walking around, eating and just having fun outside. 

And if you are wondering whether if I'm feeling better, unfortunately I'm officially sick and spent my whole day sleeping in my bed. My back hurt from laying down for so long so I decided to sit up for a bit and blog for you my lovies :)

I'm wearing: TOPSHOP gray sweater, Value Village thrifted shirt from men's section, Urban Outfitters maxi shirt with sheer and solid black blocks, royal blue flats with skull studs (can't remember where I bought), Kate Spade shoulder bag.

 Do you see Halls in my hand? Had to constantly eat it for my throat and also it was really yummy! Citrus grapefruit flavour with vitamin C+! 

Key lime love

I just love love love key lime, and anything with key lime flavour? it goes into my mouth. 

When I saw this bright neon yellowish green trouser that reminded me of key lime from Club Monaco, I couldn't resist but to buy it and I love it!!!! The slight looseness of the pants which I believe it's inspired from men suits with pop of bright colour plays off well and balances out the features of formality and casual. This way, the clothes that I could put together with this pants is more diverse. I think this key lime colour is my lucky colour because the interview went well, everything that I ate was yummy, saw my close friend who I thought I couldn't see that day and met lovely people on street complementing my pants!

Job hunting mode!

Today, I'm going ground to hand out my resume and to have interviews!

I have put together an outfit that is still formal for interviews but has details to give a twisted style of casual punk. First impression affects a great deal when it comes to interviews, so it is important to dress properly but don't forget to show your personality.

Easy black&white

Do you know that black&white is coming back this fall/winter?

Many designers are accentuating the beauty of simplicity and "less is more".

This time, this trend is most often shown with a contrasting of black and white which are separated in interesting/unusual shapes, capped off by equally monochromatic accessories. See Proenza Schouler fall collection.

 I pulled out black&white from my closet for a easy and comfortable look.

Day to night

I bet everyone had experienced those days where different events are packed starting from morning till late night, till next morning perhaps. For me, this Saturday was fully scheduled and I actually came back home so late, @3:30am! My daytime was spent at a house with bunch of special people having Korean BBQ feast! Next, at around 7pm, I drove to downtown for late dinner and to enjoy night life that I missed so much of. I wanted to look and feel different during daytime and night time since I was to do different activities that somewhat requires outfits that are suitable to the event. So! I just put 2nd top and few more accessories for the night look in my car that has totally different vibe from how I would look during the day. For BBQ party, I kept it playful and lively with a combination of two different patterns from my top and bottom. For the night time, I went for chic, edgy, sophisticated and more daring style which would serve well the crazy Saturday night of the city!
