Back to School!

It's September soon and that means.........it's time to head back to school!!!! But...I don't go to school anymore :( I am actually very VERY sad that I can't go back to school.
I was really surprised when I realized that I actually miss being at school this fast (just graduated this year). Oh well..I gotta move on and find my direction in life, but those of you who are still at school, enjoy it while you can! Here are some advice that might help you!
1) Focus at the moment. If you are in class, don't do anything but the class stuff and actually listen to what your prof is saying. If you are out for a night with your friends, ditch the thought of your assignments or essays, just rock the night with your pals.
2) Time management is the key. Plan out the weekly schedules, even daily schedules before you go to bed every night.
3) Make promises to yourself. Such as "I am going to finish that essay by 9 p.m. tonight and will hit the gym for an hour."
4) and keep that promise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! push and push!!!! never procrastinate. That way you might end up with more free time then you expected.

but..right now if you could spend about 5 minutes of your time reading my post, I'll be very happy:)
Here are some back to school outfits I would wear. I am going to stick with two pair of shoes that are comfortable but gives you a little bit of height and cool that students will check out!
Holagrpahic ankle sneaker wedge from Deena & Ozzy
Tropical print ankle sneaker wedge from Material Girl.

I have coordinated two outfits per pair.
 All about comfort!

Jacob full length black cardigan/ Nastygal turtle neck crop top/ Marshalls dip dyed denim overalls.
Easy and comfortable look for days when you have so much to do and you know  you will be sticking around at school til late. It sucks but you could still look put together!

Friday night? I'm ready!

Topshop crop top/ Mango jeans ripped by one of my friends/ vintage gold chain necklace and gold bar necklace.
Too much belly showing? Throwing on a leather or denim jacket is a good option but I like this outfit for when I have only one class to attend and it happens to be on Friday! I would definitely go clubbing with my gals just like that after school!

Sweater got my back

Forever21 shoulder studded sweater/ Artizia white shirt/ Untitled&Co. galaxy mini skirt.
Sweater is perfect for courses that ends late and you have to face the chilly night air. I remember wishing for a sweater to put on when I had to walk back home after a class that ended at 9:30p.m.

 My clothes are art itself

Black Market denim overalls/ Black and white striped long sleeved shirt/ Artizia black waist belt.
My major was Drawing and Painting and yes, I did so much of painting that my hands were covered in paints for days! I didn't even see a point of washing it off because I know I'll have the paint back on me in a sec. My clothes were no exception as well, so why not throw on something that's okay to have some colourful paints on!

*sorry I didn't coordinate any bags proper for school. It's because right now I am in a situation where I have to live away from home for few months and I only have two luggages of everything. I have limited options of bags..definitely no school bags are with me right now!*

Throw back Thursday

One thing that I love about living in core downtown of Toronto, more specifically Queen Street West a.k.a Fashion District, is being able to see and get inspired by those fashionable people around the area. They don't care if their style is not your favourite cup of tea, they love what they wear and their confidence is what makes them fashionable who steal glances from others. Sometimes glances are not enough and I feel like I have to tell them, "Gosh, I love what you are wearing!". That is why I feel so flattered and happy when it flips over and people come up to ME with words of compliment.
On Queen Street, I have encountered three special and exciting situations where professional photographers took pictures of me and guess where I ended up!!!

Funny.. head to toe from Urban Outfitters! Deena & Ozzy silver and clear platform.

Here are two other outfits that I got photographed in!
Joe Fresh white sweater/ Durumi Apparel silk tank top/ thick burgundy scarf my mom knitted/ H&M snake pattern skinny jeans/ Joe Fresh ankle boots.

details here.

This is too cute

What?
You need to clean your monitors and you love pugs?
Oh I've got something perfect for you!

We are the YOOs!

Introducing another Yoo to you!!
Today I spent some time with my older brother updating each other with news. Unfortunately, we don't see each other often since my brother is away from home right now. We had only about 2 hours before I head to work, but it didn't stop us from having a good time. My brother is intelligent, cool, funny, and just an awesome person to always have on my side. His name is Jin Yoo and is a blogger as well. Just click on this name and you will be at his blog in a sec!

Jin's outfit and his "sooo what?" badge pin deserves two thumbs up!!

Levi's denim jacket/ Durumi Apparel silk tank top/ Durumi Apparel black and white patterned loose pants/ Aritzia waist belt/ Indigo "whatever" clutch bag/ Pegabo ankle strap pointy flats.

+ Jin's gift....that I need to read and study. How great :(..........kindding!! :) Thanks bro!

Ahh...good old times

Yes, I love trying on clothes, choosing an outfit for the day and styling myself so that my day is extraordinary! But, I'll be honest, sometimes both of my body and brain get lazy, I just want to throw on anything I grab and go out like that without caring so much (and I actually do go out). Those days are pretty stressful if you have to go to work, but for me, going to work being so hideous  was actually exciting because there were amazing girls who could style me! That is why I loved my old job at Durumi & Chocolate Shoes (you can click to see a blog post about this store). I could come in like a homeless person and my co-workers(amazing friends outside of work!) would dress me up from head to toe! Well...I needed to look well put together in a fashionable way for our customers, so my co-workers had no other choice but to help me haha. One day, we were about to take pictures of our new arrivals, and I was asked to be the model for the look book! At first, I felt a little awkward posing and doing all the modelling stuff that I could possible think off, but eventually I quit thinking too much and it was more fun. We enjoyed our very first ridiculously unprofessional shooting(we didn't even have a camera, iphone did the job). Here are some photos!

Like Durumi and Cholcoate Shoes Facebook page for updates about new stuff!
